Raised in Brookline, Joe attended Brookline High and later Northeastern University. After working in real estate for a number of years, he teamed up with colleague Mark Pearlstein to form Metro Realty Corp. in 1984.

Adam earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, which lead to his initial career in the mutual fund investment industry. Michael Pallares, Sales & Marketing Manager
Born in Venezuela and raised in Miami, Michael brings more than 25 years of experience as a sales and marketing professional to Metro Realty. His wide-ranging career has included stints as a newspaper reporter, an advertising copywriter, marketing director in various industries as well as a radio and TV talk show host. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa, a licensed Realtor and an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR). He has been with Metro Realty since early 2003 and was promoted to Metro’s Sales & Marketing Manager in 2004. He is also proud to be a gay real estate agent servicing the GLBTQ community throughout Eastern Massachusetts.

An ex-bar owner and native of Wisconsin, Adam J. (as he’s known in the office) was just plain sick of country life when in the summer of 2003, he decided to sell his business, pack up and move to Boston. After he landed in Harvard Square, he dove straight into real estate and claims to have found his calling. Josh is originally from Middleboro, Massachusetts, and has lived in the South Shore for much of his life. He moved to Boston officially in 2005 when he rented a Metro Realty apartment. He is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Business Management program at Emmanuel College in Boston. Josh worked in construction for many years as an electrician, plumber, paver, equipment operator and site supervisor. In 2004 he started Scott's Asphalt paving company and was co-owner. During this time he attended trainings and was mentored in buying and selling foreclosures. Heidi Shenker, Rental Agent
A Brookline resident since 2001, Heidi has worked as a Real Estate Sales and Rental Agent in Brookline and the Greater Boston area for more than 10 years with five of those years here at Metro Realty. Originally from Boston, she’s a graduate of Boston University with a BA in English. Dan has lived in Metro Boston for almost 35 years and has more than 15 years of sales experience. He earned a B.A in History from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. After spending 10 years as a vice president of Sales for an Information Technology Services company, Dan transitioned to Metro and has since prided himself in delivering results well above and beyond his client's expectations. Deborah graduated from Wayland High School in 1989. She attended Tulane University in New Orleans, Lousiana for two years before transferring to the University of Vermont (UVM) in Burlington, Vermont. Deborah graduated from UVM in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology. In 1998, Deborah received her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College.

Ashley hails from Montgomery, Alabama and later attended Auburn University, majoring in Fine Arts and Communications. After relocating to the Atlanta area, she worked for the EDS Corporation and Van Michael Salons.
