As someone who has always lived in the Greater Boston suburbs, Missy brings extensive knowledge of school systems, the best places to raise a family and a devotion for understanding the local real estate market.
With a Bachelors in Sociology from Brandeis University, a Masters in Teaching and Special Education from Simmons College and an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University, Missy worked as a Special Education teacher and Counselor for more than a decade, before retiring early to spend more time with her family. She branched out into part-time sales for promotional products and enjoyed the sales experience so much she decided to follow her brother (and Metro Realty’s Vice-President) Adam Umina into real estate. Joining Metro Realty in 2018 was a natural culmination of her many passions.
Missy lives in Needham with her husband, three kids, and four pets. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors.
