Samantha knew there were huge opportunities outside of the island that she was born and raised on. Never shying away from challenges, she left the comfort of her family’s beautiful home in Martha’s Vineyard with aspirations to make her own way in life, and make her family proud. She lived in many cities inside and surrounding Boston, while getting her Bachelor’s degree. She graduated from Suffolk University with a B.S. in Sociology.
Before joining the Metro Real Estate team, Samantha worked as an Immigration Law Paralegal in Boston. Seeing her parents struggle to become U.S. citizens motivated her to help illegal immigrants in the U.S. She worked closely with an Immigration Attorney to prepare a wide range of immigration applications and petitions with USCIS to help legalize her clients. Samantha continues to volunteer for New England Justice for Our Neighbors as an Immigration Clinic Interpreter. Due to the big population of Portuguese-speaking illegal immigrants in Massachusetts, she wanted to use her language skills and provide free legal services for these clients in need.
Samantha’s interests in Real Estate started when she was a child, growing up and seeing her family members invest in Real Estate. In the summer of 2017, Samantha had the opportunity to intern at a local real estate office as a Rental Assistant and her love for real estate came to fruition.
Samantha’s goal isn’t just to build a trusting relationship with her clients, or help them find a pretty home, but also to be there for them when they’re making some of the most important decisions in their lives. Whether they’re renting an apartment, buying or selling a home, Samantha wants her clients to feel like the entire experience is enjoyable and simple.
