This year, International Women’s Day fell on Sunday, March 8 – but this entire month is dedicated to celebrating women and advocating for equality; something we feel passionately about all year round.
At Metro, we consider ourselves extremely lucky to be able to have such an amazing group of women on our team, and wanted to write this blog post with them in mind. Read on for a little bit about these powerhouses, and let us just say – If you’re looking to work with an agent that goes above and beyond, all of these ladies will do just that.
When sharing your posts for this incredible month, use the hashtags #IWD2020 and #EachForEqual

As the Executive Assistant and Office Manager at Metro Realty, Ryanne wears a variety of hats on any given day. A graduate of Michigan State University with degrees in science and technology studies and journalism, Ryanne had previous stints as a public relations executive, a stay-at-home-mom, a magazine editor and a paralegal in a Massachusetts law firm–all of which prepared her well for the ever-changing and energized atmosphere at Metro. She loves her job so much, she commutes every day from a quaint little town west of Worcester.

Cindy attended the College of Charleston, where she graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Psychology in 2007. She moved north seven years ago, and since then has lived all over the Boston area – from Cambridge and Somerville, to Brookline and Brighton. Sam, Salesperson Associate
O: 617.232.2255 x231
Before joining the Metro Real Estate team, Samantha worked as an Immigration Law Paralegal in Boston. Seeing her parents struggle to become U.S. citizens motivated her to help illegal immigrants in the U.S. She worked closely with an Immigration Attorney to prepare a wide range of immigration applications and petitions with USCIS to help legalize her clients. Samantha continues to volunteer for New England Justice for Our Neighbors as an Immigration Clinic Interpreter. Due to the big population of Portuguese-speaking illegal immigrants in Massachusetts, she wanted to use her language skills and provide free legal services for these clients in need.
Samantha’s goal isn’t just to build a trusting relationship with her clients, or help them find a pretty home, but also to be there for them when they’re making some of the most important decisions in their lives. Whether they’re renting an apartment, buying or selling a home, Samantha wants her clients to feel like the entire experience is enjoyable and simple.
Nia, Salesperson Associate
O: 617.232.2255 x245
Having spent nearly a decade in the coffee industry working in numerous roles as a manager, trainer, and recruiter, Nia took her passion for problem-solving and helping others to real estate after growing up around it—her father has been in the industry for over twenty years. Nia studied Philosophy at the College of Wooster in Wooster, OH, but could not stay away from her hometown for long, having lived in and around Boston her whole life.
Despite that, she still manages to find new, exciting things in the city constantly—whether it is a less frequented public park or trail or a new restaurant in a familiar area. Nia brings that excitement and freshness to her work as real estate salesperson, doing everything she can to help her clients secure a comfortable place in the city she’s always called home.
Rebecca, Salesperson Associate
O: 617.232.2255 x216
Originally from Colorado, Rebecca moved to Boston in 2011. After observing her father’s real estate career, she decided to pursue her passion for helping customers find their dream home. Through hard work and perseverance, Rebecca forges lasting connections with her clients and landlords.
In addition to her love of real estate, Rebecca is also a violinist and violist. Rebecca has performed in such venues as Carnegie Hall, the Fisher Center, Sydney Opera House, and the Shanghai Performing Arts Center. She made her national radio debut on Robert Sherman’s McGraw Hill Young Artist Showcase in 2014 and appeared on the show again in the Spring of 2019. Rebecca serves as Principal Second Violin in the Lyrica Chamber Orchestra and is an avid chamber musician who regularly performs in and around Boston. In her free time Rebecca loves taking her Siberian Husky, Chinook, on adventures.
