Newton Highlands is the most centered of these villages in Newton. It’s predominantly residential with its commercial center running along Lincoln Street and intersecting at Walnut Street. Some of the vendors and stores there include the Newton Pizza House, O’Hara’s Food and Spirits, Baker’s Best, Lincoln Street Coffee, Games and Gizmos, Walnut Market, 51 Lincoln, and much more.

Newton Upper Falls is along the eastern banks of the Charles River in the lower west side of Newton. It bordering towns are West Roxbury to the southeast, Needham to the south and southwest, and Wellesley to the west. Its main roads are Route 128, and Route 9 (Boylston Street), which directly connects Newton to downtown Boston. And Newton Upper Falls is home to the beautiful Hemlock Gorge Reservation and Echo Bridge.

Oak Hill is one of the seven hill locations in Newton and borders West Roxbury. Situated in Oak Hill is the Oak Hill Park subdivision and the Charles River Country Club. It is also home to Newton South High School, Oak Hill Middle School, Charles E. Brown Middle School and Memorial Spaulding Elementary School.
